Crowell & Moring Aviation Partner To Speak at the 3rd Annual Aircraft Acquisition Planning Seminar
Washington, D.C. – October 22, 2003: Eileen Gleimer, a partner with Crowell & Moring's Aviation Group, is scheduled to speak at the 3rd Annual Aircraft Acquisition Planning Seminar at the Doubletree Paradise Valley Hotel in Scottsdale, AZ on November 11th & 12th, 2003. The seminar brings to the industry a strong understanding of the issues and challenges in the Aircraft Acquisition Planning process.
Eileen will make a presentation on "Aircraft Ownership Alternatives". This session will provide a discussion of various ownership and leasing options within the Federal Aviation Regulations. In addition, it will examine whole, joint, co- and fractional ownership programs using specific scenarios. In addition, it will address how the FAA views wet and dry leases as well as "flight department companies"
Eileen has practiced aviation law for over two decades and is widely recognized as one of the top business aviation attorneys in the United States. She advises a wide range of clients on commercial transactions involving the purchase, sale, lease and financing of business and commercial aircraft and structuring aircraft ownership and operations to ensure FAA and DOT regulatory compliance. These clients include large and small businesses owning, operating and managing corporate aircraft; leasing companies; fixed-base operators; repair facilities; fractional ownership program managers and participants and other companies selling corporate aviation services.
