Brad Anwyll Joins Crowell & Moring's Tax Group

Anwyll Brings 35 Years of Tax Controversy Experience

Washington – February 6, 2019: Crowell & Moring LLP is pleased to announce that J. Bradford Anwyll has joined the firm as senior counsel in its tax practice, bringing more than 35 years of experience in tax issues, including tax controversy and litigation matters involving federal and international issues.

“I have known Brad for many years. He is a terrific addition to our tax practice with extensive experience both in tax controversy and litigation,” said David B. Blair, head of the firm’s Tax Group. “Our clients will benefit tremendously from Brad’s particular focus on international tax issues and transfer pricing.”

Anwyll has participated in more than 275 matters before the Internal Revenue Service's Advance Pricing & Mutual Agreement Program, Examination Division, and Appeals Office and has litigated more than 30 cases before the U.S. Tax Court, the U.S. Court of Federal Claims, the Federal District Courts, and the U.S. Courts of Appeals. His clients span a variety of industries including oil and gas, pharmaceutical, telecommunications, chemical manufacturing, and consumer products.

Prior to entering private legal practice, Anwyll served as a Judicial Clerk to the Honorable Marion T. Bennett of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. Anwyll received his J.D., cum laude, from Duke University School of Law, and his B.A. in economics from Johns Hopkins University.
