Preparing for Employees to Return to the Workplace: Strategies for Global Employers During the COVID-19 Pandemic

As multinational companies prepare for countries to re-open and essential orders to be modified, it is important to keep in mind how the COVID-19 pandemic has changed a global employer’s compliance risks. From addressing the necessities of new supply chain adjustments to assessing and ensuring health and safety of workers, global employers not only have to balance traditional employment concerns but now,  in light of the current pandemic, must adapt and plan to navigate through specific guidance and regulations  to begin working in a “new norm.”  Most importantly, global employers will have to be mindful when developing  policies and plans that one size does not fit all.  We have assembled a panel of global practitioners to provide multinational companies with practical strategies to support their international workforce as they return and/or continue to work through this pandemic.
