December 1, 2016 • New York, NY

Address: 590 Madison Avenue, 22nd Floor, New York, NY View Map (view map)

The real estate sector has historically attracted significant levels of institutional capital. However, as fund returns have varied widely in the last decade, many investors such as pension funds, endowments, and family office groups have increasingly turned to direct investments and refused to pay the fees demanded by the fund community. This program, part of our Family Office & Private Equity Dealmakers Breakfast Series, looks at whether small or large funds provide better access to the asset class as well as better hands-on management and more targeted value-add initiatives. We will also explore whether smarter opportunities exist in office, retail, hotel, industrial, and/or residential properties. Mark Lichtenstein (NY partner) moderates a panel featuring Gabriel Altus, Co-Founder, Urbanr; Scott Bennett, Vice President, Northeast Region, Wells Fargo & Company; Andrew Chung, Chief Executive Officer, Innovo Property Group; and Lance Popp, President, Residential Capital Management.
