Starts: 2:30 PM (EDT)
Ends: 3:30 PM (EDT)

As the volume of data has grown and federal enforcement agencies are increasingly asked to do more with less, they have turned to the use of advanced analytics and artificial intelligence programs to assist with tax compliance and enforcement. These sophisticated programs leverage data analysis and predictive algorithms to be more strategic in taxpayer audits and the discovery phase of litigation. This panel during the ABA Tax Section Virtual Fall Meeting will discuss the evolving nature of the government’s use of advanced technology and how tax practitioners should prepare for the future.
