Francesca S. Condello is an associate in the International Trade Group at Crowell & Moring’s Brussels office. Francesca is experienced in International Trade and Customs Law issues, as well as in Customs-related issues, including Customs Litigation, VAT and excise, and product and substance regulations enforced by Customs. Prior to joining Crowell & Moring, she provided comprehensive Customs Law and Free Trade Agreements legal services for international law firms, for the European Commission (DG Trade), and Customs consultancy firms.

She has worked with clients in a variety of industries, including consumer products and luxury goods, electronic equipment, textiles, agriculture and food products, chemicals and pharmaceutical products, automobiles and auto parts, aviation, metals, IT and telecommunications, energy, oil and gas.

Francesca is a member of the Italian Bar and graduated in Law with honours at Luiss University in Rome. In addition, she holds LLMs in International Trade and Customs Law obtained at the Collège d’Europe (Belgium) and at the Italian Institute for Foreign Trade (Italy). She is fluent in Italian, English and French.

She is a frequent speaker and contributor to conferences and seminars on a variety of Customs Law and International Trade topics.
