The European Regulation on “the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data” (also known as the "GDPR") will be applicable in all EU Member States from May 25, 2018.


The GDPR is not only important for businesses that are established in Europe, it also affects businesses that do not have a European presence but offer goods or services to individuals in Europe or monitor the behavior of those individuals. This is why the Europe India Chamber of Commerce and the Embassy of India have joint forces with Tata Consultancy Services and Crowell & Moring in order to inform Indian companies doing business in Europe about these major developments.


This half-day seminar will take a practical approach to GDPR compliance, to help businesses understand their increased obligations as data controllers and processors and the changes they will need to make to their data protection practices so as to ensure that their processes, policies and contracts conform to the GDPR.
