Van Nguyen is a counsel in the Litigation Group in the Orange County office. Van's practice focuses on complex litigation, including representing clients in class actions, mass consolidated actions, and multi-district proceedings. She has represented clients in matters involving antitrust, commercial disputes, product liability, unfair competition and false advertising, fraud and other business torts, and intellectual property. Van has successfully litigated matters in federal and state courts, and has had experience at the trial and appellate level.

- Currently representing a national telecommunications company in a series of class actions involving fraud, warranty, unfair competition and false advertising claims.
- Currently representing a client in mass consolidated actions involving product liability claims in California state court.
- Currently representing national corporate client in price-fixing litigation.
- Represented insurance company in class action litigation involving unfair competition and false advertising and fraud claims.
- Represented national retailer in class action litigations alleging violations of the Fair and Accurate Credit Transaction Act and Fair Credit Reporting Act.
- Represented national credit reporting agency in defending individual and class actions in stated and federal courts alleging violations of Fair Credit Reporting Act, Unfair Competition, and other state and federal statutes.
- Represented owner in complex construction delay and defect action against general contractor, design professional, engineers and other subcontractors.
Prior to joining Crowell & Moring, Van was a litigation associate at the law firm of Paul Hastings. She received her law degree in 2002 from the University of Southern California Law School. At USC, she was the Executive Articles Editor for the USC Interdisciplinary Law. Van received a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1999 in Sociology from the University of California, Irvine. She graduated magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa.
Van is a member of the Orange County Bar Association, Federal Bar Association, and Orange County Asian American Bar Association. Van is a member of the firm's Diversity Council and the Counsel representative on the firm's Lawyer Development Committee. She is also a volunteer attorney for the Orange Public Law Center. Van was named a "Southern California Super Lawyer - Rising Star" in Litigation in 2007 and 2008.
