Michael Larmoyeux is an associate in the International Trade Group in the firm's Washington, D.C. office. His practice involves a variety of areas, including U.S. customs law and trade remedies. Michael has worked with clients in various industries, including automotive and auto parts, aviation, chemicals, construction equipment, consumer products, electrical equipment, medical equipment, steel and textiles. He assists clients with a broad range of Customs issues, including tariff classification, import valuation, special duty programs, drawback, free trade agreements, prior disclosures and focused assessment audits. Michael also assists clients in antidumping duty matters. He is a member of the group's Customs duty recovery team, which conducts global duty recovery reviews for businesses to minimize duty costs and obtain duty refunds. Michael is editor of the trade group's monthly news bulletin, This Month in International Trade.

Michael earned his J.D. from American University's Washington College of Law. While in law school, Michael completed legal internships at a federal agency and a public interest advocacy firm. He also worked as a research assistant at a national trade association. Michael received his B.A. in English from the University of Notre Dame. During college, he spent a semester studying abroad in the Notre Dame London Program.
