Mark A. Ringel is a counsel in the Corporate practice group in the firm's Washington, D.C. office focusing in business aviation.

Mark represents a wide range of clients on commercial transactions involving the purchase, sale, lease, financing and operations of a wide variety of business aircraft. In addition, his clients include management companies and charter operators, and his practice includes providing advice in regulatory compliance issues as well as aircraft ownership structures that comply with relevant Federal Aviation Administration and Department of Transportation regulations.

Mark and the Business Aviation team take a collaborative approach with the firm's other practice groups to resolving issues that arise in the context of business aircraft ownership including corporate matters, employment issues, and executive compensation.

His aviation experience includes working as an engineer at The Boeing Company in Seattle, Washington. Eventually he became responsible for large project management activities including major refurbishment projects and managing aircraft deliveries for Boeing's Program Management Office. After law school, Mark negotiated and administered a variety of corporate jet sales, leases, and acquisitions at Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation in Savannah, Georgia. Mark was responsible for the contracting process in support of the pre-owned aircraft sales team, as well as several domestic and international new aircraft sales teams.
