Anne Davies is a senior counsel in Crowell & Moring's London office. She advises companies and Insurers on Health and Safety, Product Liability, Environmental and Corporate Governance matters. She has a particular expertise in the Construction; Agriculture and Food sectors and also in Sports and Leisure claims.

Anne acts on behalf of both companies and individuals in defending Health and Safety at work prosecutions as well as prosecutions for gross negligent manslaughter following accidents. She can advise both company and individual directors on their criminal and civil liabilities arising out of an investigation by the Health and Safety Executive, Food Standards Agency, DEFRA, Local Authority, Environment Agency, Trading Standards or the police.

She has experience of defending group litigation having represented McDonald's in the "Hot Drinks" litigation. The case remains one of the leading decisions under the Consumer Protection Act 1987

Anne has written articles for the trade and legal journals and lectures on Health and Safety matters with a focus on the Corporate Manslaughter legislation. Her practical and proactive approach is held in high regard by her clients and peers. 2009 Chambers & Partners UK describes Anne as a "sensible, strong litigator," who is applauded as "first-rate in legal and analytical knowledge, and in her ability to handle difficult claims." Anne was ranked in band one in 2010 Chambers & Partners UK, where clients and colleagues applauded her "precise and thorough approach to managing cases."
