Andrew Tein, a director at C&M International, focuses on the interface between trade and regulatory policy affecting business and private sector development and brings expertise on risk management, market access and socially responsible strategies in emerging markets, especially in the Asia-Pacific region. Mr. Tein has worked closely with both foreign governments and the private sector, helping governments and companies manage stakeholder identification issues and strategy related to free trade agreements and changes in regulatory policy. Prior to joining C&M International, Mr. Tein worked with a variety of government agencies, including the U.S. International Trade Commission (USITC), Overseas Private Investment Corporation (OPIC) and U.S. Department of Commerce in Beijing.
Mr. Tein has studied at Georgetown University's School of Foreign Service and Peking University's Guanghua School of Management. Having both lived and worked in China, he is also fluent in written and spoken Mandarin Chinese.
