- Assisted a leading U.S. specialty retailer and apparel importer to create predictable sourcing by shaping new rules of origin and defending existing source countries, such as China and Vietnam, against protectionist actions by the U.S. and EU.
- Provided input to the U.S. Government, on behalf of a multinational retail apparel importer, on the structuring of qualified industrial zones (QIZs) in Jordan and their integration with the U.S.-Israel Free Trade Agreement, enabling the client to increase investment in Jordan and reduce its cost of sourcing apparel.
- Advised a multinational retailer on its international trade rights to distribute in a foreign market, and supported the client in successfully countering discriminatory policies favoring domestic retailers.
