International trade policy issues for life sciences products can affect global market opportunities as well as domestic policies. From our offices in London and Brussels, we counsel American clients doing business abroad on matters such as harmonization of laws, litigation at a European level, rules of the free movement of goods and services and intellectual property rights. In particular, the Brussels office advises on regulatory developments; assesses the impact of EU laws for business; assists in the participation in public consolations on proposed EU legislation; and monitors positions of EU institutions regarding international/WTO developments.
