It's not just what we do. It's what we do differently.

Litigation/Arbitration

Litigation is a core strength of Crowell & Moring, and a principal foundation of the Firm's success. Fully two-thirds of the Firm's attorneys prosecute and defend cases in federal and state trial and appellate courts, before domestic and international arbitration panels, and in administrative actions held before United States governmental agencies. We possess substantial expertise in a wide variety of practice and industry specialties that are identified below.

Crowell & Moring's attorneys are highly skilled and well-prepared to litigate sophisticated and complex business cases. We develop and tailor our litigation strategies to the specific facts of each case, and our goal is to achieve a resolution that best addresses the client's particular business needs. We employ this strategy through every step of the litigation process, from pre-trial discovery through trial and appeals. We use advanced litigation technologies, which enable us to manage large-scale document productions and other complicated discovery issues efficiently and expertly.

Our clients often request our assistance in assessing and minimizing potential litigation risks. In this respect, we provide guidance on how best to reduce liability exposure in light of recent legal trends and other significant developments. We also evaluate the feasibility of less expensive alternatives to litigation, including but not limited to alternative dispute resolution.
