EU Accession Countries
Companies with establishments in the EU accession countries ( Cyprus, the Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Poland, the Slovak Republic, and Slovenia) must implement the EU legislation (the so-called ‘acquis communautaire') by May 1, 2004 and should track any legislative development in order to ensure compliance with the EU labour law provisions following accession.
We offer assistance to multinational companies with establishments in the EU accession countries, in close cooperation with local law firms in the accession countries, to achieve compliance with the new legal provisions.
