Discrimination and Harassment

Non discrimination and/or harassment issues are becoming of significant importance under the influence of EU Directives.

These new regulations often provide additional protection against dismissal to certain employees and provide for specific termination indemnities in case of non-compliance. In some cases the regulations provide for criminal sanctions in case of non-compliance.

The potential negative consequences of non-compliance not only relate to the above protection against dismissal and/or criminal sanctions, but also include a PR aspect.
