Los Angeles Business Journal Names Crowell & Moring’s Nicole Janigian Simonian and Renée Delphin-Rodriguez to “Women of Influence: Attorneys” List

Los Angeles – April 19, 2022: Los Angeles Business Journal named Crowell & Moring partners Nicole Janigian Simonian and Renée Delphin-Rodriguez to its 2022 “Women of Influence: Attorneys” list. The list honors women attorneys in Los Angeles who “have been recognized for exceptional legal skill and achievement across the full spectrum of responsibility, exemplary leadership as evidenced by the highest professional and ethical standards, and for contributions to the Los Angeles community at large.”

Simonian is co-chair of the firm’s International Trade practice and Global Mobility Lead and has over 20 years of experience working as a strategic advisor for a wide range of clients, from emerging growth companies to Fortune 500 multinational conglomerates, on their market entry and global business expansion throughout Asia, the Middle East, Latin America, and Europe. She manages compliance risks for multinational companies regarding cross-border investigations, global mobility and international employment, market access, and cross border data privacy. She is a core member of the multidisciplinary working group, helping clients navigate the rapidly evolving business, legal, and operational issues associated with the Ukraine crisis. She is also a member of the Investigations team. Outside of her practice, she recently served as an advisor to the Women’s Leadership Initiative, a cross-office group dedicated to the recruitment, retention, professional development, and advancement of female lawyers. She is active in the Los Angeles community, serving as a member of the Board of Directors of the Los Angeles Area Chamber of Commerce and the chair of the Chamber’s Global Initiative Council.

Delphin-Rodriguez is a partner in Crowell’s Los Angeles office and a member of its Corporate and Health Care groups. Her practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, equity and debt financing, corporate governance, and complex commercial agreements. Delphin-Rodriguez’ clients span a wide range of industries, with a particular emphasis on companies within the health care industry. She assists business leaders in transactions that are transforming the healthcare industry, such as private equity-backed management services organization (MSO) restructurings of medical groups, joint ventures, and transactions in healthcare technology. In addition, she advises large corporations on a variety of significant M&A and other strategic corporate transactions, including business combinations with special purpose acquisition companies (SPACs). She regularly assists public and private corporations on corporate governance, compliance, and general corporate matters.
